December 12 Mid-Week Report

12/12/2018 3:02 PM -

The Evansville Thunderbolts had a slow weekend, with only one game in Peoria.  The result was one that the team had not hoped for, a 5-1 loss, however the team has been working hard to prepare for the upcoming home double, taking on Huntsville on Friday, and Peoria on Saturday.

Weekend In Review:

In Saturday's 5-1 loss in Peoria, Mark Petaccio scored the lone goal, his 8th of the season.  Braeden Ostepchuk put up a valiant effort in net stopping 26 shots, while the other bright spot was the team's penalty kill, which went a perfect 5-for-5.

The Week Ahead:

The Thunderbolts host the Huntsville Havoc on Friday night, which will be another 812 Night.  Saturday will be Star Wars Night, as the Thunderbolts host Peoria.  Special jerseys will be worn by the Thunderbolts, which will be auctioned off after the game.  Both games start at 7:15pm CT.
