Butler Returning to Thunderbolts

Evansville, IN:

Evansville Thunderbolts Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Jeff Bes announced today the resigning of defenseman, Tanner Butler for the 2021-2022 season.

Butler, 6’, 190 pound, spent 34 games with the Thunderbolts during the 2019-2020 season, earning 2 goals and 4 assists. “Tanner was really starting to gain confidence in his game prior to the shut down, said Bes. “After playing last season overseas and continuing his development, we look for him to be a big part of our defense core this season.

Butler was placed on the team’s protected player list in May.

“I’m looking forward to stepping onto the ice at the Ford Center in front of the fans, it’ll be an exciting year and hoping to continue the momentum we had before we shut down during the 2019-2020 season,” Butler said.

Home Opener is Friday October 22nd at 7pm CST. Season tickets are as low as $11 per game.  To order your tickets for next season, call 812-422-BOLT.
