Fan Experiences
See how you can get involved with the Evansville Thunderbolts!

Zamboni Rides
During our pre-game festivities, and during our first and second intermissions, our Zambonis help get the ice ready for the hockey players! Wanna’ ride? We offer a chance for up to six people to sit shotgun on the world-famous ice cleaning machines! Limitations apply and those picked must follow the guidelines as set by the Thunderbolt staff. Our game day staff will notify you ahead of time with all the details if you are chosen.

Air raid siren master
Before each period, we have a fan ring the air raid siren, sponsored by Shelter Insurance! It’s our call to the players to get on the ice, and for our fans to make some noise! If picked, you will be directed to the top of Section 111 to crank that siren! Those picked must follow the guidelines set by the Thunderbolts staff. Our game day staff will notify you ahead of time with full details.

Chuck-A-Puck Cleanup Crew
During the second intermission of each hockey game, we have a contest titled “Chuck-a-Puck”! When the foam pucks are thrown on the ice, we need assistance from our young fans to help pick them up so the team can come back out and win some hockey games! Parents can check in each game at the Bolts’ HQ Table (sales table in the concourse outside of Section 102) and fill out the waiver for your kid to get on the ice and help the team! Full instructions will be given out to the parents when signing up.
