On Friday, the Thunderbolts and Head Coach/Director of Hockey Operations Jeff Bes announced a pair of transactions, led by the signing of goaltender Cole Ceci.

Ceci brings a strong playing pedigree to the Evansville goaltending department, having played three seasons of major junior hockey in the Ontario Hockey League with the Hamilton Bulldogs, Guelph Storm, Oshawa Generals and Erie Otters, playing in 63 total games between 2016-19.  Following major juniors, Ceci played four years of college hockey with York University, compiling a 15-23-1 record in 39 games between 2019-2023.  A native of Ottawa, Ontario, Cole's older brother Cody Ceci is a veteran NHL defenseman currently playing with the Edmonton Oilers.
