On Saturday, the Thunderbolts and Head Coach/Director of Hockey Operations Jeff Bes announced the signing of forward Jordan Simoneau.

Simoneau, who is listed at 6-foot-5 and 229 pounds, was a top power forward for Marian University from 2021 to 2024, scoring 23 goals and 42 points along with 169 penalty minutes in 71 games.  Prior to college, the native of Tisdale, Saskatchewan played three seasons of junior hockey in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League with the Nipawin Hawks between 2017-2020, registering 45 goals and 93 points with 369 penalty minutes in 147 regular season games, and in 2017-18 was a member of the Hawks' Canalta Cup Championship team.
