On Friday, the Thunderbolts and Head Coach/Director of Hockey Operations Jeff Bes announced a pair of transactions, led by the signing of forward Grant Spence.

Spence recently turned pro with the ECHL's Cincinnati Cyclones, appearing in three games.  The native of Chatham, Ontario previously played two seasons of college hockey at the University of Windsor, scoring 15 goals and 27 points in 54 games between 2022-2024, and in this season's playoffs scored two goals and five points in four games.  Spence also played several seasons of junior hockey, most notably with the GOJHL's Chatham Maroons from 2015-2018 and from 2018-2021 in the OJHL with the North York Rangers and Georgetown Raiders.

In additional transaction news, forward Sullivan Sparkes has been placed on waivers.
