On Tuesday, the Thunderbolts and Head Coach/Director of Hockey Operations Jeff Bes announced the signing of goaltender Brendahn Brawley to a standard contract.

Brawley joins the Thunderbolts in his first professional season, having started 2023-24 with the Peoria Rivermen.  In 10 games with the Rivermen, Brawley went 6-2-1 in 10 games with an .893 save percentage before being released by Peoria.  The Morton, Pennsylvania native previously played four seasons of college hockey at Plymouth State University between 2019-2023, alongside Thunderbolts teammate Myles Abbate, who also started this season with Peoria.  Brawley went 30-9-2 in 43 games with a .924 save percentage in his tenure with Plymouth State, winning three MASCAC championship titles in the process.
