On Thursday, the Thunderbolts and Head Coach/Director of Hockey Operations Jeff Bes announced the signing of forward Jacob Kamps.
Kamps joins the Thunderbolts following five seasons of Canadian college hockey with Ryerson University from 2018-2022 and Toronto Metro University in 2022-23. In total collegiate play, the Toronto, Ontario native scored 7 goals and 13 points in 46 games. Prior to college, Kamps played two seasons of junior hockey between 2016-2018 with the Penticton Vees of the BCHL, the Brooks Bandits of the AJHL, and mostly with the Pembroke Lumber Kings of the CCHL, scoring 29 goals and 58 points in 88 games.
